Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy

The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy prepares students for both public- and private-sector careers, teaching and research professions, and service at all levels of government. Students are trained and employed in the areas of land use, political processes, public health, employment and social policy, human services, transportation policy and planning, housing and real estate, urban redevelopment, and regional development and planning.
Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology

The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology is committed to meeting the need for well-educated and well-trained professional psychologists. The school offers programs in clinical psychology and school psychology, with concentrations in community psychology and sport psychology. The school’s doctor of psychology degree programs are designed to provide doctoral training for students who wish to attain excellence as professional psychologists and offer services to the community in a wide variety of settings, especially those with underserved populations.

The School of Arts and Sciences is the undergraduate school for liberal arts and sciences. School of Communication and Information

The School of Communication and Information is a leader in responding to the information revolution and the fast-paced changes occurring in the fields of communication, information, and media. School of Engineering

With a faculty known for research in areas such as bionic limbs and traffic safety, the School of Engineering is devoted to training the next generation of innovators and inventors. Departments of biomedical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, and other disciplines allow students to gain the specialized knowledge demanded by 21st-century engineering projects and research. Located on Rutgers–New Brunswick’s George H. Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences

Academically aligned with Rutgers University–New Brunswick and collaborating with units across the university, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences comprises eight schools and their attendant practices, clinics, centers, and institutes. The schools offer programs at locations throughout the state, including New Brunswick, Newark, Piscataway, Stratford, Scotch Plains, and Blackwood.

Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy

The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy is recognized as providing one of the most challenging, dynamic, and satisfying programs of study leading to the doctor of pharmacy degree. New Jersey Medical School

New Jersey Medical School, the oldest medical school in the state, encompasses 22 basic science and clinical departments and hosts major centers and institutes devoted to such areas as global tuberculosis, public health, and neurology. University Hospital—northern New Jersey’s only Level 1 Trauma Center—is the school’s principal teaching hospital. In addition to education and advanced research, the school stresses community health services and provides direct patient care.
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School

Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s mission centers on education, advanced research, community health, and direct patient care. Home to 20 basic science and clinical departments, the school also houses major research institutes that focus on a range of topics, from cardiovascular medicine to women’s health. Its principal teaching hospital, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, consistently ranks among New Jersey’s top three hospitals.
Rutgers School of Dental Medicine

Rutgers School of Dental Medicine is the state’s largest center of dental research, its only dentistry school, and its only school offering pre- and postgraduate dental education. It operates the largest oral health care system in the state. Preparing generations of dental practitioners, the school also has a long history of caring for underserved populations.

The School of Health Professions provides quality education for entry-level allied health professions and for health providers seeking specialty and advanced practice roles. With 35 programs ranging from post-high school to postdoctoral, the school serves approximately 1,500 students, one-third of whom learn online.

Camden College of Arts and Sciences

School of Nursing–Camden

The School of Nursing–Camden addresses the critical need throughout New Jersey for high-caliber nursing education that combines a research-based curriculum with top clinical experiences. Faculty are nurse scientists and active leaders in the profession. In addition to graduate and professional degree courses of study, we offer an innovative B.S.N. program that immediately immerses undergraduates in coursework and experiences that at other nursing schools are typically offered later in a student’s education. An R.N.-to-B.S.N. program is available, as well as School Nurse Certification.
